No honest lawyer prices a motorcycle case from a web form. Value is the intersection of liability, the medicine, the coverage that actually exists, and what juries in that county have done with similar proof.
What moves the number
- Who had the right of way, and whether that can be shown without asking the jury to trust a memory.
- Objective injury: fractures, surgery, imaging, time off the bike and off work. Soft-tissue cases are real and harder.
- The policy limits. A clear case against an uninsured driver is a different asset from a clear case against a commercial policy.
- Liens. Health insurance and Medi-Cal get paid out of the recovery. The net to the rider is not the headline number.
Past results of this office are not a quote for the next file. The firm does not publish a settlement scoreboard for that reason.
