Off the pavement, the defendant is not always obvious.
A rental operator, a landowner, another rider, or a product. Assumption of risk ends some of these files. It does not end all of them. Intake is where that is sorted, before anyone spends a year on the wrong theory.
Bring the rental agreement, the waiver you signed, photographs of the machine, and the name of the operator. If the crash was on public land or involved a guided tour, say so in the first call. Those facts change the deadline and the defendant.
